Sau Mares Nautica operates an indoor dry-storage facility and technical workshop in Porreres, central Mallorca. Our covered boat storage offers a complete winter storage service to protect your boat through the colder months. We keep yachts, speedboats, and motorboats out of the weather through the off-season, and we use those months to carry out the antifouling, mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic work that is difficult to schedule during the sailing season. One yard, one point of contact, from collection to delivery back to the harbour.

Winter storage in Mallorca is not simply a parking space. Between November and April a vessel left afloat or outdoors is exposed to storm damage, salt corrosion, and UV degradation that shortens the life of gel-coat, canvas, and electronics. Our indoor facility removes all three, and our custody service means the boat is monitored and checked while it sits.
The off-season is when refit work belongs. With the vessel already indoors and dry, our workshop carries out the mechanical, cosmetic, and canvas work that cannot be scheduled around a summer sailing calendar, in controlled conditions rather than on an exposed hardstanding.
Repowering and electrical work demand a workshop, not a berth. We supply, install, and repair inboard and outboard engines, carry out mechanical alignment and fuel system calibration, and diagnose and re-wire onboard electrical systems. For breakdowns afloat, we also come to your marina.
Getting the boat to the yard, selling it, or sourcing a part: the commercial and movement side of ownership, handled from the same place that maintains the vessel.
We come to your boat. If you need a repair, our technicians travel to your marina or mooring in Mallorca and try to solve it right there.
Winter storage means keeping your boat on dry land and under cover during the months of lower use. At our boat storage yard in Porreres, your boat is protected from sun, rain and salt air, with alarm surveillance connected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and periodic general checks. And because we are also a workshop, you can use the stay for maintenance, repairs or antifouling and have your boat ready for the season.

We work with boats between 4 and 30 metres in length.
We do repairs at your marina. If they can be solved without taking the boat out of the water, we do them at your berth. If the boat has to be hauled out, we do it at the marina's own boatyard, and we only move it to our yard in Porreres when the job requires it.
We sell and install new engines, and we also repair engines.
The most common symptom is blistering on the hull, but the reliable way to know is to inspect the hull with the boat out of the water. We can diagnose it and tell you whether it needs treatment.
When they are visibly worn away. The easiest time to check is with the boat out of the water, for example during winter storage or antifouling.
