Sau Mares Nautica manufactures tailor-made canvas mooring covers and winterisation wraps in Mallorca. Each cover is cut for a precise fit to the individual vessel, keeping the cockpit clean and fully protected from rain, dust, and debris.
Fit is the whole job. A cover that is slightly loose flogs in the wind until it chafes through itself and the gel-coat underneath, and it channels water into pools that eventually find a way inside. A cover cut to the actual boat sheds water, stays put, and lasts years rather than seasons.
We pattern directly from the vessel, including around cleats, rails, and screens, and specify fastening points so the cover can be fitted single-handed. Winterisation wraps for longer-term outdoor lay-up are made to the same standard.
