Second-hand marine parts have an obvious problem: you cannot see the history. Ours are checked before they go on the shelf, and anything that fails inspection is scrapped rather than sold on with a disclaimer.
This matters most for older or discontinued vessels, where a new part may simply not exist any more and the choice is a verified used component or a fabrication job. If we do not have what you need in stock, we will say so rather than sell you something adjacent.
