Repowering decisions are usually made on horsepower alone, which is how boats end up over-engined, out of trim, and burning fuel to no benefit. The right unit depends on displacement, hull form, typical load, and how the boat is genuinely used, not on the largest number that will physically bolt to the transom.
Because we install what we sell, there is no gap between the sales advice and the person who has to make it fit. If a proposal will not work with your existing controls, shaft, or fuel system, you hear that before you buy, not afterwards.
